Travelling in Singapore

The public transport in Singapore is very well established as such moving around would be easy. The main method of transportation are via:

MRT - Consisting of the North - East Line, North South Line and Circle Line, the subway station in Singapore are very well interlinked with constant trains plying the route. You can expect a train to arrive every 5 minutes and it would take around 45 minutes to travel from 1 end to the other end of Singapore via train. Taxi - Cabs in Singapore begins usually with a flag down rate of SGD $2.40. Do note that if you are to board the cab at certain places, there is an extra surcharge. For example, at the casino, you can expect to pay $3 more bring the total boarding charge to $5.40.
